About the event

Erik and Kristofer will be guiding the attendees through the new world of Elias 4, a fully updated new version of the middleware software for Audio in Games. 

About the instructors:

Erik Brattlöf  - Product Manager 

Has been working with interactive sound and music in different forms for the last 15 years. As of last year he’s part of the product team at Elias Software where his aim is to make life easier for anyone involved in game audio. Elias is the world’s most powerful tool for game developers, composers and sound designers.                

Kristofer Eng. - Co-founder and CEO. 

Has been working with evolving adaptive music for many years, both directly with game companies but also a frequent speaker at conferences and schools. Kristofer is also an awarded composer with the music for It takes two.                     

This workshop will get you up and running in the bran new Elias 4. A modern take on adaptive music and sound.

Live Editing

Everything you create or change is instantly updated in your game. No need to export/import. You don’t even have to restart your game session – just keep on adding and iterating while your game is running.

Visual Scripting

Build systems, create logic, remap values, add DSP, and access game parameters with visual scripting, directly in our authoring tool. Reduces the risk of breaking the build, and minimizes the time you need to lock files that other teams might need. This is of course also 100% available to edit live, while your game is running.

Hot Swap Assets

Add new files, or replace existing files, at any time.

Adaptive Music

Our award-winning adaptive music capabilities enable composers to create and test adaptive music systems in an intuitive way. Add more depth to your score, and create endless variation with ease.

Amazing APIs & Source Code Access

As Elias 4 is built with modern architecture, almost everything in the system is available via our APIs, so that you can extend and replace functionality or connect us to your own tools. If you need even deeper access, the full source code is of course available on request.
